Integrity: an interdisciplinary exchange on theory and practice Northern American Research Excellence on Corruption Workshop II

This will be the second workshop organized by CEU Business School, Center for Integrity in Business and Government which aims to bring together top academic experts from Northern America, following the first, held in Budapest in March 2012.

This workshop is an innovative attempt to bring together top scholars from different fields (for example, law, economics, philosophy, business ethics, management studies, political science and anthropology) to share their analytical perspectives, research experiences and methodologies to establish guidelines for interdisciplinary dialogue. Subsequent discussion will have as its background, but by no means be limited to, CIBG’s large empirical study of attitudes of CEOs and compliance officers to matters of integrity and corruption methodological and analytical strengths and weaknesses with the aim to stimulate discussion. It is hoped that the interaction of multiple conceptual frameworks and methodological assumptions will help to illuminate theoretical issues in integrity/corruption research while at the same time advancing CIBG’s work on the construction of innovative MBA and executive education curricula for the CEE region.
