Seminar on Innovation in the Public Sector draws top European officials

November 15, 2009. Hungarian business media have noted our October 30th inaugural discussion forum. “CEU Business School in Budapest hosted an Exclusive Discussion Forum today on the governing challenges in the Eastern European countries in the post-crisis times” wrote Budapest Times. The article emphasizes both the participation of senior politicians and business executives from the region and the fact that the topics raised during the meeting will be thoroughly explored by the IRI. A similarly positive review of the event was given by the Világgazdaság. “We are glad that the media seem to acknowledge the importance of changing the mindset that for too long has guided regional discussions on regulation,” argues IRI’s co-director Bernadett Koles. “I am extremely optimistic that the activities of our research center will help elevate this discussion to a new level.”
