Help, support, feedback
This section of the Website Handbook explains how to request support or provide feedback regarding the operation of the CEU Website. Reacting to any support requests or feedback messages in a timely and efficient fashion is a key principle of the CEU Web Team, therefore do not hesitate to contact us or simply press the Feedback button which exists on each screen if you have a question to ask or an opinion to share. However, if you have one extra minute, do read this section first, it may help you and us to resolve the issue you are facing faster and more effectively.
Finding answers yourself
If you experience difficulties with this website, first consult this Website Handbook. Then check the Help and Support Forum, perhaps someone has had similar probems and they were already addressed.
Asking others
If you can't find answers, do one or several of the following:
- Press the Feedback button at the right-bottom corner of the screen and type in your issue. This is ideal to report problems related to specific pages rather than broadly phrased support questions;
- Contact the Web Team through this form;
- Post your question as a new topic at the Website Help and Support Forum .
Advanced help
Most of the beginners do not need these options, but more advanced users may also find additional help by Searching Help Content on the site or directly from the Drupal community website. More help links are available under Support in the Contributors Links menu on the left. You may also wish to consult Compose Tips provided by Drupal which contain some detail on how various tags work during editing.
Providing feedback
The quality of this Website depends upon your feedback. Any time you notice a problem with the content or function of the Website which you cannot fix yourself, please let us know in one (or several) of the following ways:
- If you see a little [+]Feedback box (usualy on the right-hand side at the bottom of the page), click on it and enter your feedback. This is the fastest and the easiest method and it will automatically report to the Web Team which page you are commenting on. The disadvantages are that you can only enter very simple and short remarks and there is no automatic way of knowing who has received your comment and what has happened with it.
- Contact the CEU Web Team indicating "feedback" as the category of your post; this is the easiest and most straightforward option for a new user. It is also very good for fixing very specific shortcomings such as factual or grammar mistakes, bad layout, broken links, etc. If you are not sure use this option.
- Post your feedback to the Feedback Forum - in this way your feedback will be visible to a wider circle of users and can be discussed before acting upon. This option is best for reporting complex issues which may need collective reflection.
