There are two main areas of the Center’s teaching support activities:

  • It participates in course/curriculum development in areas such as corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and business sustainable development. Four milestone events were Workshops on Teaching Corporate Governance, initiated and organized by the Center, in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Embassy in Budapest annually since October 2006 and November 2007.

Output: Workshop summary reports and English-Hungarian Corporate Governance Pocket Glossary (Eds.: Czirják L. and Hardi P.) AmCham 2007 ; the new edition is under preparation.

  • The Center strives to become a central source for teaching cases on companies in Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia. These cases would address business in society issues, as well as issues of central importance to management functions and business strategy.
