Admissions Process
To complete the Admission process, please upload your online application dossier by the following deadlines:
For the Full-time MBA (intake September 2010):
Rolling Admissions
For the Executive MBA (Weekend-format) (intake February 2011):
Early Admission Deadline: October 31, 2010
General Admission Deadline: January 15, 2011
Students who need a visa for Hungary should plan accordingly and contact the Hungarian Embassy in or close to their city to find out about visa requirements. This process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks.
Your application will NOT be evaluated until your online application dossier is completed. The CEU Admission Committee normally decides upon an applicant’s candidacy into our programs within 2-3 weeks. Please save the email confirmations of Dossier receipt and other Admission correspondence for future reference.
All application materials will have to be submitted online via the new online application system (with the sole exception of letters of recommendation, which may be mailed). CEU's online application form, delivered by Embark, enables the online submission of the application form itself as well as all other relevant documentation, including academic records, CV’s and resumes, letters of recommendation, and motivation letters, eliminating all paper mailing to the Admissions Office.
In addition, candidates will be able to use this system to track their progress and learn the outcome of their admissions evaluation online. Admissions decisions will be available to the candidates as soon as they are entered into the system.

There are 3 stages of the application process, described below:
Stage One: Application Documents (Application Dossier)
The following documents must be uploaded to our online application system - your application will NOT be evaluated until your online application dossier is completed. Please save email confirmation of receipt of dossier and other Admission correspondence for future reference. These are the documentation to be included:
· A completed application form for the program
· A professional resume / CV
· A copy of undergraduate diploma and transcripts
· A motivational letter
· Two reference letters
· TOEFL or equivalent exam score report* (or confirmation of TOEFL registration date)
· GMAT Score report* (or confirmation of GMAT registration date), where applicable

Stage Two: Interview and Evaluation
After we receive the above documents, applicants will be scheduled for an admission interview either in Budapest, or at various locations in other countries, or by telephone if necessary. After the interview, each applicant will be considered for admission on the basis of past academic achievement, length and nature of work experience, strength of recommendations, English language competency, GMAT score, and general compatibility with the goals of the program he or she is applying to.
Stage Three: Offer of Admission
Applicants who have successfully passed the evaluation stage will receive an admission offer from CEU Business School. Students will be conditionally admitted to a program until they provide the following within the deadline indicated in their admission offer:
· Payment of the non-refundable General Deposit
· Official GMAT score report
· Official TOEFL score report (or any other acceptable language certificate)
· An official copy of the diploma in the original language with the ink stamp and signature of a notary public or an authorized university official, and an official English translation of it.
· An official copy of the transcript in the original language with the ink stamp and signature of a notary public or an authorized university official, and an official English translation of it. (Transcript = an official report supplied by a school on the record of an individual student, listing subjects studied and grades received.)
