Program Overview
CEU Business School currently offers three US-accredited graduate management degree programs: two leading to an MBA (full-time or part-time studies) and one to an International Executive MBA.
The one-year Full-time MBA Program commences each year in September, bringing together students from more than 20 countries for an intensive 11-month management education program. With our Transnational MBA curriculum you will receive a broader understanding of the importance of social, political, ethical and environmental changes in a transnational context in addition to a truly integrative learning experience based on leading global business education approaches. This program is meant for managers who see themselves as change leaders in rapidly transforming environments and combines functional excellence (in the core program) with opportunities to concentrate on Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance or Real Estate Management.
The part-time Executive MBA program, with the same rigorous curriculum and the same high quality American degree as the full-time program can be earned on the weekends, with no career interruption. The Executive MBA starts in February each year, with classes running intensively from Friday afternoon to Sunday noon, roughly every second weekend.
The 18-month modular IMM (International Master's in Management) Executive MBA program is a collaborative effort of four of the world's top universities:
- Purdue University in the United States
- TiasNimbas Business School of Tilburg University in the Netherlands
- CEU Business School of Central European University in Budapest, Hungary
- GISMA Business School in Hannover, Germany
The program, accredited by AACSB International and AMBA, starts in March of each year, and is designed for experienced professionals who need to maintain their full-time job. It consists of five two-week residential sessions that vary between the four participating institutions, with one session taking place in China and one in Mexico. IMM takes an analytical approach to business problem solving which develops the managerial skills required for career advancement. It focuses on the international dynamics affecting the business firm in tandem with the rich multi-national mix of faculty and participants.
The International Master's in Management (IMM) program has been ranked #1 in "International Course Experience" and #2 in "Career Advancement" worldwide by the Financial Times 2010 EMBA ranking.
The Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology Management is unique in the region. It is designed mainly for managers or prospective managers with a technical background who need to develop the business, finance and leadership skills for advancement or entrepreneurship.
The program is an interactive, hands-on education delivered by industry experts as well as academic faculty. As a part-time program meeting on alternate weekends, it allows students to develop their careers without interrupting them."
CEU Business School also offers a variety of Executive Education Programs for both organizations and individuals. Our portfolio consists of specialized short courses and trainings, modular talent management programs and mini MBAs, masterclasses and conferences.
Our International Study Tours Program brings groups of Business students from leading Schools worldwide to Central-Eastern Europe for an intense one- or two- week training in the region's business environment, accompanied by a cultural program.
